As a Regional Sales Director (RSD) in Charleston, SC (onsite), you will have the resources to drive revenue in your territory while coaching community-facing professionals. The role includes travel across assigned markets and offers a benefits package designed to support your health, time, and long-term future.

What you’ll do

Lead a team of hospice agency community liaisons across a defined territory, keeping the group motivated and focused on developing relationships with target accounts.
Provide hands-on training and ongoing support, coaching community liaisons to strengthen account management and improve day-to-day performance.
Analyze regional performance data and produce reports covering visit frequency, referrals, and other key metrics to refine sales strategy and maximize impact.
Support team growth by assisting with recruitment for open or new community liaison positions.
Stay current on market trends, competitive activity, and emerging sales techniques so the region remains proactive and well-prepared.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required
Minimum 4 years of healthcare sales/community liaison experience, preferably in hospice
Minimum 2 years of management experience
Demonstrated understanding of hospice regulations
Proven success in growing local or regional patient census
Must be willing to travel and spend at least 75% of time in assigned markets
Candidates must live in one of the areas to be considered

Compensation & location

USD 130,000 - 145,000 per year

Job Description

The Business Development Representative serves as a key link between THREE RIVERS BEHAVIORAL HEALTH and the communities, referral partners, and organizations that depend on its behavioral health and substance abuse services. This onsite role focuses on relationship building, brand elevation, and executing the strategic sales plan through ethical, mission-aligned outreach.

Role Focus

Connect the facility with community stakeholders, referral partners, and service-reliant organizations.

Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

Prior marketing and/or sales experience within a behavioral healthcare setting.
Three years minimum documented experience in referral development, account management, sales growth, and physician relationships.
Knowledge of the Southeast behavioral health marketplace, including insurance plans, target markets, and referral sources, plus familiarity with psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment and age-specific programming.

What You’ll Do

Lead multi-disciplinary teams through the RES sales process for a defined set of target clients, partnering with RES marketing and proposal teams as needed

Requirements

BA/BS in Biology, Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrology, Engineering, Agricultural Science, or similar science
Three or more years of Regulatory or Environmental consulting experience as a “seller-doer” responsible for pursuing and delivering projects
Established relationships with public agencies and regulators, private developers, consulting and engineering firms, non-profits, and academia within the Southeast
Proven ability to sell to multiple stakeholders and build consensus that supports commercial booking
Experience reviewing and preparing regulatory documents and deliverables, including responding to agency comments
Advanced understanding of relevant environmental regulations and permits/approvals, including CWA 404/402/401, NWP/IP, NPDES, and ESA
Strong grasp of restoration design principles, approaches, and technical inputs such as engineering design plans, functional calculations, and ecological data
Ability to independently access state and federal databases, extract specific information, and interpret and communicate results
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, business dependent

What Will Make You Stand Out

Strong familiarity with GIS capabilities and functions
Exposure to estimating, scheduling, and budget development for project delivery
Experience leading a multidisciplinary team within a defined sales process to win projects
Advanced degree or additional qualifications in Project Management (for example, Project Management Professional) indicating comfort working across disciplines
