Business Development Manager-Automotive Aftermarket (Wheels & Accessories)
Job Description
Drive new customer growth in an assigned Massachusetts territory through outside sales for automotive aftermarket wheels and accessories.
Responsibilities
- Spend the majority of time in the field prospecting, cold calling, and visiting prospective customers to generate new business opportunities.
- Schedule back-to-back sales calls and customer visits across the assigned territory to build a consistent pipeline of new business.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new customer opportunities using networking, referrals, cold calling, and in-person prospecting.
- Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying through presenting, negotiating, and closing.
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly activity goals, including customer visits, prospecting, and new account acquisition.
- Create strategic territory plans to maximize market penetration and support revenue growth.
- Build strong relationships with new customers and partner with internal account teams to support long-term growth.
- Maintain accurate CRM records for pipeline activity, customer visits, and sales forecasts.
- Research market trends, competitors, and growth opportunities within the territory.
- Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations to support a seamless customer experience.
Requirements
- Experience selling wheels, tires, accessories, performance products, or other automotive aftermarket product lines.
- Experience calling on automotive retailers, distributors, dealers, warehouse distributors, or wholesale customers.
- Proven ability to prospect, cold call, and develop new business in an assigned territory.
- Proven ability to develop new business while building long-term customer relationships.
- Strong business acumen to identify market opportunities and grow market share.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a field-based outside sales environment.
- Experience managing sales activity, customer information, and pipeline opportunities through a CRM.

Compensation: USD 55,000 per year
