Business Development Representative
Job Description
Join SERVPRO of Hollywood Hills/Los Feliz & Hancock Park/Hollywood in Los Angeles, onsite, earning $25 to $30 per hour with a competitive commission plan. This role centers on expanding the client base across Los Angeles County by developing accounts and fostering trusted relationships, all while representing a well-established restoration brand committed to community support and reliable service.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and grow client accounts across Los Angeles County
- Establish and maintain relationships with Building Owners and Property Managers
- Engage with HOA communities and their managers to understand needs
- Collaborate with high-rise building engineers to assess opportunities
- Partner with Insurance professionals to align service offerings
- Develop connections with Real Estate Agents and Brokers
- Work with Hospitality Groups to explore restoration services
- Engage with Motion Picture and Television Studios
- Build relationships with Schools and Universities
- Connect with Hospitals and Healthcare Facilities
- Engage Assisted Living Communities in relevant programs
- Coordinate with Government Agencies on applicable needs
- Prospect new business through in-person visits and relationship-building
- Develop opportunities via networking events and industry associations
- Grow through referral partnerships
- Strategically reach out by phone, email, and LinkedIn
- Attend industry events, including the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and BOMA
- Support sponsorships and community engagement initiatives
- Maintain regular communication with clients to sustain partnerships
- Foster long-term relationships that yield repeat business and referrals
- Identify opportunities for mitigation, reconstruction, contents, and specialty services
- Serve as a trusted resource before, during, and after projects
- Create and publish content across the company’s social channels
- Highlight completed projects, emergency response services, and client stories
- Develop educational content related to water, fire, mold, and reconstruction services
- Assist in growing the company’s online presence and brand awareness
Requirements
- 1–3 years of proven success in B2B sales
- Minimum of 1 year in water, fire, mold, or restoration industry sales
- Existing relationships with property managers, facility managers, insurance professionals, restoration consultants, real estate professionals, HOAs, or related contacts are highly desirable
- Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Consistent and disciplined in prospecting, follow-up, and business development activities
- Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Comfortable attending networking events, industry functions, and client meetings
- Professional, personable, and confident in representing the SERVPRO brand
- Results-driven with a proven ability to generate new business opportunities and maintain long-term client relationships
