Job Description

Foley Equipment seeks an outside business development sales representative for rental equipment, stationed onsite in Olathe, Kansas. The role concentrates on building and sustaining customer relationships, expanding market share within the territory, and guiding equipment selections, with a base salary complemented by commissions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities through direct engagement with customers, aligning solutions to their needs.
  • Provide exceptional service to drive satisfaction and foster long-term loyalty.
  • Assess customer requirements and advise on appropriate equipment options.
  • Assist customers in defining equipment specifications to meet project demands.
  • Address inquiries and resolve concerns through consultative discussions.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records to track interactions and nurture relationships.
  • Travel as needed for training or to support other locations.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to quickly establish rapport and build lasting relationships based on trust and mutual benefit.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the skill to initiate engaging conversations.
  • Prior outside sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills for clear customer interaction.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to drive.

What will put you ahead

  • In-depth knowledge of the construction industry, including equipment types and site phases
  • Hands-on construction industry experience providing insight into customer needs
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
