Job Description

At EWC Growth, the Center Sales Director will oversee a European Wax Center location in Chicago, guiding daily operations, driving sales performance, and delivering a standout guest experience on site. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for coaching, hiring, and developing the center team while managing all operational aspects to meet financial targets. The position offers a base salary in the 55,000 to 60,000 USD range, with the potential to earn up to 25,000 USD in annual commissions.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit, onboard, and retain high-performing associates
  • Provide ongoing coaching, regular feedback, and formal performance evaluations
  • Foster a constructive work culture that emphasizes accountability and motivation
  • Maintain consistent service excellence across all associates
  • Address escalated guest concerns with professionalism
  • Support the front desk team and demonstrate service excellence
  • Grow retail sales, Wax Passes, and service bookings
  • Track and achieve center KPIs and revenue targets
  • Implement local marketing plans and community engagement efforts
  • Develop associate schedules and manage labor budgets
  • Ensure compliance with training, licensing, and HR policies
  • Oversee daily operations including timekeeping, payroll, and deposits
  • Keep the center clean, safe, and organized
  • Adhere to safety protocols and EWC standards
  • Audit inventory and manage product orders and EFT/payment processes

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years in a sales leadership or management role in retail, beauty, or spa
  • Luxury environment experience is preferred
  • Proven history of achieving sales and operational targets
  • Experience leading teams and developing talent
  • Strong financial acumen with budgeting and schedule creation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and conflict resolution abilities
  • Expertise in guest service and sales
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems
  • Full-time availability with the flexibility to work evenings and weekends
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
