Customer Sales Manager

Kraft Heinz offers a remote-based Customer Sales Manager role within the National Sales Team, supporting profitable growth through category and customer performance planning. You will work from a home office while helping drive distribution, revenue, share growth, and optimal shelving implementation across UNFI and retailers. The position comes with a $104,200 to $130,200 base salary range plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

What you’ll do

• Plan and execute promotion and sales activities across multiple areas within a region.
• Generate, plan, and follow up on daily and monthly sales targets and actuals to achieve regional sales targets.
• Support and approve initiation, expenditures, and implementation of investments to meet business requirements.
• Own end-to-end business plans with UNFI Category Management Partners.
• Build rapport at all levels with the customer to understand their business, marketplace, and customer strategy, and use those insights to impact growth.
• Drive New Item Authorization goals and core business objectives including Distribution, Revenue and Share Growth, and Optimal Shelving Implementation across retailers.
• Achieve promotional revenue objectives by tactic, price point, drive period, and selling event while applying Kraft Heinz pricing strategies for owned categories.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to build and execute plans with UNFI Partners and Retail Partners across assigned category objectives.
• Partner with the National Planning team to manage volume forecasting across category responsibility.
• Serve as the UNFI National Plan Lead for your categories for the regional Retailer CSMs.
• Maintain files and business documentation to detail business transactions.
• Partner cross-functionally to develop and champion new Ways of Working and process improvements across the total UNFI team.
• Lead implementation of new and existing NST routines and rituals.
• Increase sales rep performance through double visits and periodical coaching, working closely with sales force effectiveness and market research professionals to find training opportunities and assignments that support personal and career development.

What you bring

• Strong financial acumen, intellectual curiosity, and examples of advanced analytical skills.
• Experience using syndicated and other data to build category and brand insights, develop recommendations, and create business plans that influence customer decisions to meet category objectives.
• Strong attention to detail under tight deadlines, with the ability to work autonomously within a CBT framework to plan, organize, and prioritize.
• Demonstrated polished interpersonal skills including written, verbal, and presentation communication, with the ability to negotiate and influence effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel, and the ability to learn new systems such as IRI and Spark.

Work environment and schedule

This is a remote-based position performed from a home office. The role requires a salaried, exempt schedule designed to meet customer and internal expectations.

Location: Employee’s Home - National

Base salary range: USD 104,200 - 130,200 per year

Bonus: Performance-based bonus eligibility per plan terms and governing documents.
