Job Description

The Program Manager role at ADP focuses on executing program plans that support on-time delivery of critical roadmap deliverables. In this onsite position in Allentown, PA, you will lead cross-functional execution by managing program schedules and budgets, coordinating stakeholders, and driving overall program performance.

This role is accountable to the Sr. Principal Program Manager of the Portfolio Management Office and supports sustained delivery outcomes by using program management best practices across complex workstreams and multiple partner inputs.

Program execution and leadership

  • Provide day-to-day program execution, including direction for issue resolution, support teams with risk definition and mitigation, and development and implementation of the program execution plan.
  • Maintain and update presentation materials for leadership reviews.
  • Create and manage program-level schedules with timelines for key milestones, ensuring visibility into important projects.
  • Establish and facilitate effective meetings and ensure logistics are organized for events such as customer visits.
  • Coordinate and review inputs from stakeholders across Product Management, Operations, Compliance, Implementation, Service, legal, and finance.
  • Prepare presentations and recommendations for diverse audiences, including executive leadership.

Planning, performance tracking, and stakeholder communication

  • Collect, assemble, and analyze data to track and share metrics with minimal direction.
  • Apply knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulations to support progress toward deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain program-level schedule and budget, monitor execution, and communicate status to program and project participants.
  • Negotiate project changes and incorporate updates into project control systems to maintain work statements, cost, and schedule baselines.
  • Develop executive-level briefings and use appropriate technologies to enable integration and collaboration.
  • Set clear scope boundaries to help prevent scope creep and support appropriate resourcing decisions.
  • Manage the accuracy of deliverables and results and communicate outcomes to stakeholders.

Risk management and issue resolution

  • Lead the risk management team to identify, track, quantify, and evaluate program-specific risks.
  • Establish and execute mitigation strategies for program risks.
  • Maintain involvement across all aspects of programs to anticipate issues, seek solutions, and ensure timely resolution for overall program effectiveness.

Customer focus and business outcomes

  • Sustain positive internal customer relationships and support superior customer satisfaction.
  • Work with diverse team members at the program manager level to drive business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Program Management experience.
  • Experience using industry standard program management techniques, tools, and best practices.
  • Experience managing complex programs with integration activities across multiple workstreams, suppliers, and customer resources.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to understand technical requirements.
  • Uses a logical approach to improve processes and solve problems.
  • Experience in non-technical programs related to process and operations is required.
  • Proven experience serving as the right-hand to a General Manager, working directly with C-level executives to develop and communicate strategy goals of the HCR Division.

Compensation and location

  • Location: Allentown, PA (onsite)
  • Salary: USD 114,500 - 213,500 per year
  • Base salary offers may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience.
  • Some positions note compensation of USD $114,500.00 - USD $213,500.00 / Year, with actual compensation not less than applicable minimum wage or minimum exempt salary requirements under federal, state, and local laws.
