Director of Business Development Operations
Job Description
In this onsite Program Management role with ADP, you will execute program plans end to end by leading cross-functional teams and ensuring critical roadmap deliverables land on time. You will also own program performance through disciplined tracking of schedule, budget, quality, and stakeholder communication across multiple groups involved in delivery.
Day-to-Day Program Execution
- Direct program execution by guiding issue resolution and supporting teams with risk definition and mitigation.
- Develop and implement a program execution plan, including clear program scope details.
- Maintain program involvement to anticipate problems, drive solutions, and ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.
Planning, Metrics, and Stakeholder Visibility
- Maintain and update presentation materials for leadership reviews.
- Create schedules with timelines for key milestones and provide visibility on important projects.
- Establish and facilitate effective meetings and implement improvements in meeting cadence and collaboration.
- Collect, assemble, and analyze data to track and share metrics with minimal direction.
- Maintain a program-level schedule and budget, monitor execution, and communicate status to program and project participants.
Budget, Change Control, and Delivery Accuracy
- Apply policies, procedures, and regulations to support progress toward deliverables.
- Negotiate project changes and incorporate updates into project control systems to protect work statements, cost baselines, and schedule baselines.
- Manage the accuracy of deliverables and results and communicate performance to all stakeholders.
- Meet targets for budget, schedule, product performance, quality, reliability, manufacturability, and production.
Executive Communication and Program Governance
- Develop executive-level briefings and use appropriate technologies to enable integration and collaboration.
- Coordinate and review stakeholder inputs, typically including contributions from Product Management, Operations, Compliance, Implementation, Service, Legal, and Finance.
- Prepare presentations and recommendations for diverse audiences, including executive leadership.
- Set clear scope boundaries to reduce scope creep and help assign appropriate resources.
- Account for all program performance to the Sr. Principal Program Manager of the Portfolio Management Office.
Risk Management and Relationship Management
- Lead the risk management team to identify, track, quantify, and evaluate program-specific risks and execute mitigation strategies.
- Sustain positive internal customer relationships and support superior customer satisfaction outcomes.
- Work with diverse team members to drive business outcomes at the program manager level.
Requirements
- 10+ years of Program Management experience.
- Experience with industry standard program management techniques, tools, and best practices.
- Experience managing complex programs including integration across multiple work streams, suppliers, and customer resources.
- Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand technical requirements.
- Uses a logical approach to improve processes and solve problems.
- Experience with non-technical, process, and operations-related programs is required.
- Proven experience serving as the right hand of a General Manager, working directly with C-level executives to develop and communicate HCR Division strategy goals.

Location: Roseland, NJ (onsite) • Salary: USD 114,500 - 213,500 per year • Experience: 10+ years
