Hospice Growth Leader / Director of Business Development

In a multi-hospice organization serving the Phoenix metro area, this leadership role centers on strategic growth and strengthening referral networks to drive census expansion across multiple entities. The position blends relationship development, admissions coordination, and collaboration with clinical and operations leadership to deliver sustainable patient care across the region. This onsite opportunity in Phoenix requires a proven track record in hospice business development and the ability to guide cross-functional teams toward measurable growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and strengthen facility and referral relationships throughout Maricopa County
• Support growth initiatives across multiple hospice entities
• Lead and mentor marketing and admissions personnel
• Collaborate with clinical leadership and operations teams
• Assist with strategic planning, outreach, and market expansion
• Represent the organization professionally within the healthcare community

Requirements

• Prior hospice business development and census growth experience required
• Established and active facility/referral relationships within the Phoenix metro market required
• Demonstrated track record of hospice census growth and operational performance
• Strong understanding of hospice admissions, operations, and referral development
• Leadership mentality with strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability and professionalism
• Candidates should be prepared to discuss verifiable prior performance history, market experience, and referral relationship development

Compensation

Base salary: starting at approximately $85,000 annually

Additional compensation: performance-based compensation opportunities

Total compensation potential: exceeding $152,000 annually based on organizational growth and performance
