Manager Business Development
Job Description
Own commercial growth for Enbridge’s crude gathering business across the Permian Basin.
- Commercial strategy: Develop and execute long-term strategy for the crude gathering system to drive revenue growth, strengthen market positioning, optimize asset utilization, and create long-term value
- Agreement leadership: Negotiate and manage complex commercial agreements, including acreage dedications, transportation, throughput, connection, and swap arrangements with producers, marketers, and strategic partners
- Growth execution: Identify, evaluate, and deliver expansion opportunities such as system expansions, well connects, interconnects, joint ventures, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships
- Cross-functional alignment: Work with Operations, Engineering, Value Chain Optimization (VCO), Corporate Development, and executive leadership to align commitments with business goals, optimize performance, and ensure contractual compliance
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline
- Experience: 8+ years in upstream and/or midstream oil and gas, with a strong background in commercial, business development, marketing, or related functions
- Market and regulatory knowledge: Deep understanding of crude oil markets, pipeline operations, and relevant regulatory frameworks
- Commercial expertise: Extensive experience with acreage dedications, crude oil marketing, and producer/wellhead economics
- Deal experience: Proven success negotiating and closing complex midstream agreements, particularly in crude gathering and transportation
- Analytical and strategic skills: Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, market insight, and analytical capability
- Opportunity development: Demonstrated ability to recognize ambiguous opportunities, design innovative solutions, and translate market intelligence into executable business plans
- Communication and negotiation: Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders across organizational levels
- Leadership and collaboration: Strong leadership and collaboration skills, including experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing complex stakeholder relationships
- Work style: Ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while exercising sound judgment, prioritizing effectively, and delivering results

Compensation
- Salary range: USD 165,000 - 205,000 per year (based on experience, skills, and internal equity)
