What you will do
- Collaborate with the Americas Debt Finance Business Development team and partners to drive the development and implementation of the Americas Regional Section business plan, marketing plans, and key initiatives
- Lead the marketing and initiative execution for one or two Debt Finance pillar groups (Borrower Finance, Private Credit, Bank Lending, Specialty Finance)
- Assist in the integration of new lawyers
- Coordinate with other Section and Industry BD teams on joint marketing and BD efforts
- Prepare domestic and cross-border pitches, proposals, capability statements, and presentation materials
- Support the development of priority Debt Finance client relationships, including designing and executing client action plans
- Coordinate client, market, sector and decision-maker research and analysis
- Develop and maintain marketing collateral such as placemats, brochures, experience statements, key messages, presentations, transaction lists, website and intranet content, and lawyer biographies; ensure materials are up-to-date and compelling
- Contribute to league table and legal directory submissions; manage award submissions and related drafting
- Support thought leadership by monitoring trends and distributing pieces
- Assess profile-raising opportunities for value, including sponsorship and speaking slots
- Manage internal marketing information flows regarding new matters and closed deals to ensure accurate profiling
- Maintain Debt Finance capability statements and experience lists in the central pitch repository
- Manage the Firm's CRM data to keep up-to-date information on priority client contacts and support BD activities, coordinating information gathering and keeping lawyers informed
- Plan Debt Finance client and multi-client events with the central events team
- Engage with industry associations and coordinate conference participation to maximize sponsorship benefits

- Minimum of six years' experience in a law firm or professional services firm; equivalent leadership experience at a comparable level will be considered
- Experience in Private Equity, Capital Markets, Corporate, Banking, Debt Finance, or Restructuring & Insolvency is preferred but not essential

- Compensation range: USD 136,000 to 190,000 per year
