Job Description
Schneider Electric's Power Distribution Sales - Sales Development Program is a 12-month immersive track designed to prepare graduates for a career in technical sales. Based in the Nashville area with on-site opportunities in Franklin, Tennessee, the program unfolds in two phases and leads to roles within the Power Distribution Sales team. Participants receive mentorship and practical exposure to real-world selling, building a solid foundation for future success on either the front lines of field sales or inside sales operations.
Responsibilities
- Support quoting, sales enablement, and customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with outside sales teams as they engage distributors, contractors, and key partners.
- Practice solution selling using real-world scenarios.
- Develop skills in account management and nurture customer relationships.
- Gain exposure to the tools and expectations of field sales roles.
- Enter a hands-on inside sales role supporting Schneider Electric's experienced sales areas.
Requirements
- Recent or upcoming college graduate pursuing a career in technical sales.
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Sales, or Business, or equivalent relevant technical or business experience.
- Technical background or the ability and motivation to learn technical concepts.
- Strong relationship-building skills with effective communication, time management, and organizational abilities.
- Available to start January 2027.
- Open to relocation across the country after program completion.
