Sales Development Representative
Job Description
Veeva Systems is hiring a remote Sales Development Representative to generate and qualify leads and build sales pipeline within the Life Sciences sector, as part of a structured career path from SDR to Associate Account Partner and then Account Partner.
Responsibilities
- Manage an assigned territory to generate and qualify new leads and build the sales pipeline opportunities
- Research and craft a plan to penetrate the assigned accounts
- Collaborate closely with the sales team and account executives to advance and close opportunities over time
- Build trusted relationships with prospective customers, understand their needs, and recommend the right Veeva products and solutions
- Rapidly develop your sales skills on the job and through training and events
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience, including at least 1 year in sales-related roles within Lifesciences (BioTech, Pharmaceuticals)
- Bachelor's Degree with strong academic performance
- Accountable for business development, lead generation, and direct customer engagement to qualify opportunities
- Consistent track record of running a metric-driven business with proven results
- Highly motivated professional with excellent interpersonal skills, including strategic thinking, communication, relationship management, critical thinking, entrepreneurial drive, and energy
- Based in the designated territory or willing to relocate into the territory before promotion to Associate Partner
- Legally authorized to be employed in the United States without limitations or restrictions

Compensation
- Base pay: $80,000 - $95,000 per year
