Sales Development Representative
Job Description
This onsite Sales Development Representative role in Lakewood, NJ focuses on nurturing prospects, constructing a disciplined sales funnel, and driving RV product sales through outbound outreach and CRM-enabled collaboration. The position offers a salary range of USD 35,000 to 55,000 per year and emphasizes building lasting customer relationships throughout the sales journey.
Responsibilities
- Nurture and cultivate relationships with prospects from initial contact through post-sale support.
- Develop a well-structured sales funnel through proactive prospecting to sustain activity and opportunities for the sales team.
- Apply diverse strategies to generate sales appointments.
- Drive departmental activity by meeting targets through outbound calls, online inquiries, and other lead-generation methods.
- Communicate effectively with prospective customers to understand their needs and provide appropriate information about RV products and services.
- Respond to inquiries with clear details about offerings and capabilities.
- Utilize provided scripts and talking points for initiating and handling phone conversations.
- Proactively make 8-10 outbound calls per hour with the primary goal of scheduling sales appointments.
- Record and manage customer information, appointments, calls, and sales interactions within the CRM system.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date data to enable efficient follow-up and tracking.
- Stay informed about ongoing marketing campaigns and promotions and align activities to maximize impact.
- Regularly monitor personal performance metrics, including appointments scheduled, calls made, sales achieved, and customer engagements.
- Remain receptive to coaching and feedback to improve departmental results.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales Development Manager to enhance overall team success.
- Ensure complete customer satisfaction and a seamless journey from first contact to sale.
- Proactively manage online reputation through reviews and social media channels.
- Work with the sales team to promote department harmony and achieve shared goals.
- Experience with VinSolutions is a plus.
Requirements
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

- Effective time management and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities to reach goals.
- Strong organizational abilities and multitasking capability.
- Prior CRM experience and high computer literacy.
- Previous sales experience is a plus.
- Physical capability to lift up to 25 lbs and move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices, as needed.

Compensation and disclosures
- The pay range reflects factors such as skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and other business needs.
- A reasonable estimate of total annual compensation (base pay plus variable pay) is $35,000 - $55,000 or more.
- This is a variable pay role with uncapped variable earnings.
