Job Description

Sales Development Representative position in Byron, GA onsite at Camping World focused on nurturing prospects, building the sales funnel, generating appointments, and supporting the sales team through outbound prospecting and CRM activity to drive revenue.

Responsibilities

  • Own the nurturing of prospects throughout their journey, from initial contact to post sale support.
  • Build a well structured sales funnel through proactive prospecting to ensure steady activity and opportunities for the sales team.
  • Apply multiple lead generation strategies to secure appointments and drive traffic by meeting department activity targets via outbound calls, online inquiries, and other methods.
  • Communicate effectively with prospective customers to understand their needs, answer questions, and share information about RV products and services.
  • Utilize provided scripts and talking points for initiating and receiving phone calls.
  • Proactively make 8-10 outbound calls per hour with the goal of scheduling sales appointments.
  • Use the CRM to record and manage customer information, appointments, calls, and sales interactions.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date data to support efficient follow-up and tracking.
  • Stay informed about current marketing campaigns and promotions.
  • Align efforts with marketing initiatives to maximize impact on lead generation and sales conversion.
  • Regularly track and analyze personal performance metrics, including appointments scheduled, calls made, sales achieved, and customer engagements.
  • Be receptive to coaching and collaborate with the Sales Development Manager to improve departmental success.
  • Contribute to customer satisfaction by proactively managing online reputation across review sites and social media outlets.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to ensure a seamless journey from initial contact to sale.
  • VinSolutions experience is a plus.

Requirements

  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication
  • Results driven and motivated for sales
  • Excellent customer service
  • Effective time management with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities to reach goals
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Prior CRM experience and high computer proficiency
  • Previous sales experience is a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices

Compensation and Disclosure

  • The pay range reflects multiple factors including skill sets, experience, training, licensure and certifications, and other business needs.
  • Typically not hired at the top of the range; compensation decisions depend on the factors listed above.
  • A reasonable total annual compensation range (base pay plus variable pay) is $35,000 - $55,000 or more.
  • This is a variable pay role with uncapped commissions or incentives.
