Service Business Development Center (BDC) Representative
Job Description
This on-site role is a Service Business Development Center (BDC) Representative position at Capistrano Valley Toyota in Laguna Niguel, CA. The role focuses on handling inbound service inquiries, greeting visitors, and coordinating service-related requests, while delivering clerical and administrative support to the Service department.
Responsibilities
- Respond to inquiries submitted via the dealership website and follow up with prospective customers.
- Route questions and issues to the appropriate department personnel.
- Provide administrative support as needed.
- Manage required paperwork and records and prepare forms and reports as needed.
- Handle inbound service calls and coordinate appointment scheduling with service advisors.
- Maintain an owner follow-up program to foster repeat and referral business while supporting customer satisfaction.
- Maintain ongoing knowledge of product updates, features, accessories, inventory, and their benefits for customers.
- Prioritize customer satisfaction and commit to ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Set personal goals aligned with dealership productivity standards and develop plans to achieve them.
- Provide service or sales management information through completed reports.
- Attend required trainings and meetings.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate behaviors aligned with the company values in interactions with customers, colleagues, and vendors.
- Assist online customers by scheduling appointments.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of experience required; sales experience preferred.
- Three to six months of prior professional experience in over-the-phone customer service or sales (inside sales, telemarketing, etc.) is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and typing skills.
- Proficiency with computers and the internet, including the Microsoft Office suite.
- Automotive industry experience is a plus.
- Engaging, inquisitive, and service-driven with a proactive, always-helpful attitude.
- Internet sales experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated drive, passion and confidence to succeed.
- Willingness and ability to work in a performance-driven, process-oriented environment.
- Strong customer satisfaction skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Professional appearance and work ethic.
- Self-starter and self-motivated.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Pay
Compensation: USD 3,350.00 - USD 4,800.00 per month
