Job Description

Join Santander as a senior-level business development professional supporting strategic analytics, reporting, and initiatives across the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Define and build analytical approaches for unprecedented and complex business issues.
  • Identify measurement gaps and develop new metrics, reports, or related reporting mechanisms to address them.
  • Review operational data and metrics, analyze and synthesize findings, then compile results into reports or presentations.
  • Operate across the firm to complete tasks effectively.
  • Develop consultative partnerships with internal teams and leaders to understand strategic goals, KPIs, and reporting needs.
  • Communicate with internal teams and leaders to stay current on organizational and functional operations and relevant company reporting practices.
  • Lead special projects and initiatives that are strategically important to the function or business unit.
  • Serve as the technical leader for ad hoc reporting and project requirements.
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and their teams to align analytical and reporting needs with business and operating results.
  • Provide guidance to less experienced staff.
  • Lead projects by assigning work and monitoring quality and completion.
  • Support achievement of function or business unit objectives.
  • Enable data-driven decision-making for team, functional, or business unit leaders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 9+ years of experience working in Strategy, M&A and/or Project Management (required).
  • Strong knowledge of the Private Banking Industry.
  • Ability to influence and drive complex initiatives, coordinating logistics with internal stakeholders.
  • High proficiency in financial calculations.
  • Experience in project management, merger and acquisitions, due diligence, and transactions.
  • Comfort using generative AI and AI-enabled tools.
  • Strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professional discretion.
  • Superior problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills, oral and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and AI tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Base Pay Range

  • Minimum: $93,750.00 USD
  • Maximum: $175,000.00 USD

Working Conditions

  • Frequent minimal physical effort such as sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Depending on location, occasional moving and lifting light equipment and/or furniture may be required.
