VP of Business Development
Job Description
Corpay is hiring a VP of Business Development to drive enterprise eCommerce growth through new upsell opportunities and a targeted pipeline across the US.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a member of the SVS Digital Solutions sales team, representing the full portfolio of SVS digital service solutions with a focus on eCommerce opportunities.
- Lead sales and retention activities for existing and new enterprise clients.
- Execute sales strategy while demonstrating negotiation, product knowledge, prospecting, and relationship building to secure new opportunities with current clients and prospects.
- Own an incremental annual revenue target covering the SVS client base and prospects, primarily focused on US opportunities with some international work.
- Create, maintain, and manage a targeted pipeline aligned to the annual revenue goal.
- Assess client needs, decision criteria, and internal processes; develop and nurture executive-level relationships to expand and grow accounts.
- Ensure a smooth transition of newly won business to the appropriate implementation and/or client management resources.
- Navigate the full, complex sales process, including:
- Market development and positioning
- Client relationship building
- Opportunity validation and assessment
- Additional solution integration strategy development and execution
- Solution development and structuring aligned to client needs and SVS product/service competencies
- Proposal creation and pricing alignment with company objectives
- Contract negotiations
- Establish and maintain relationships focused on prepaid product and service solutions.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
- 7+ years of direct/outside sales and/or account management experience in a competitive environment.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree desired.
- Demonstrated sales competencies including closing ability, adaptability, product knowledge, resourcefulness, and strong follow-through.

- Preferred: direct industry experience or equivalent experience selling into senior representatives and C-level.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience using Sales Force and aptitude to quickly learn new systems as needed.
- Travel: 25% to 40%.

Compensation
- Salary range: USD 120,000 - 140,000 per year.
- Compensation decisions depend on facts and circumstances of each case.

- Additional compensation elements such as bonuses, incentives, benefits, or variable pay may apply where applicable.
