Step into a field-based Area Sales Manager role where you help dealership partners grow application volume and keep loans moving with fast approvals and funding. United Auto Credit Corporation offers a base salary starting at $43,260/year plus an uncapped commission plan, with an average of $2K–$5K per month. You will also get a structured ramp-up period as you build your book of business, along with the tools and support needed to succeed in-market.

What you’ll do

This is an on-site role based in Grove City, OH, focused on regular dealer visits throughout your assigned territory (typically within a 60-mile radius). Expect an average of 5–10 dealership visits centered on expanding and strengthening dealer relationships.

  • Sign new dealerships and increase application counts with existing dealers, capturing approved contracts.
  • Review and structure deals with dealer partners, including support to structure or restructure as needed to fit the program.
  • Partner with F&I Managers to help drive maximum profitability for dealerships through the sale of UAC products.
  • Coordinate with your assigned Credit Analyst and Funder to help ensure loan approvals and fast funding.
  • Work with the Dealer Compliance team to help resolve market issues.
  • Follow up on approved Loan Applications and maintain ongoing dealer relationships.
  • Provide best-in-class customer service to dealer customers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What you bring

  • 2–5 years of experience in a challenging sales role with a proven track record of success.
  • Previous experience in Auto Finance sales and underwriting or dealership experience (sub-prime auto finance experience is highly preferred).
  • Communication: clear, concise, professional communication across multiple channels.
  • Computer skills: basic proficiency, comfortable drafting professional emails, navigating internal systems including CRM systems, and using office applications such as Word and Google Workspace.
  • Skills: excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Field readiness: a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
  • Schedule: ability to work Saturdays as needed while in the field.
  • Physical demands: daily operation of a motor vehicle within the territory; walking dealership floors; standing during in-person presentations and client meetings.

United Auto Credit Corporation provides the tools necessary to perform at a high level, including a phone/tablet combination and a program that helps dealers fund a range of customers, including difficult credit situations, job/income types, and subprime financing for certain commercial units.
