Area Sales Manager

Lixi Hospitality is hiring an Area Sales Manager based in Lexington, MA (onsite) to build relationships with potential clients and generate new business for its hotels. This role manages large accounts, supports a loyal customer base, and partners with the Director of Sales to carry out hotel sales and marketing strategies.

Role Scope

The Area Sales Manager will help drive revenue and profit outcomes by understanding the competitive environment, pursuing new and repeat clients, and maintaining an effective sales pipeline. The position also requires active collaboration in revenue management and sales planning discussions.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze the competitive landscape and position the hotels to secure business that meets or exceeds revenue expectations and profit goals.
• Solicit, negotiate, and book new and repeat clients through multiple channels, including social media, outside calls, and telemarketing.
• Build meaningful connections and continually innovate to expand reach with key corporate, business, social, and travel industry accounts.
• Engage with community organizations and the media to increase awareness and drive further business.
• Participate in revenue management meetings and sales strategy discussions.
• Capture client requirements and communicate specifications to the appropriate departments.
• Respond quickly to inquiries, concerns, and issues to support an exceptional client experience and enable repeat future sales.
• Anticipate impacts of change events to identify and pursue business opportunities.
• Meet or exceed sales goals.
