Job Description

Context: Associate Director, Business Development for North America, driving fixed income product awareness and revenue opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Support market-facing interactions with key constituents to increase product awareness and grow fixed income revenue opportunities
  • Develop and execute business plans and sales campaigns to expand market share
  • Conduct client and prospect outreach through individual meetings, seminars and conferences, speaking panels, roundtables, and webinars
  • Partner with clients as a design partner on build outs of new products and services
  • Collaborate with business development and sales on product commercialization, fees, and licensing structures
  • Lead thought leadership via industry publications and blog posts
  • Perform competitor analysis and develop strategies to position the firm optimally
  • Participate in sales conferences and special events, help with sales collateral production, client entertainment, and association memberships

Requirements

  • Manage client relationships with the primary goal of growing revenue streams year-on-year in line with the account plan
  • 5+ years of experience in fixed income markets
  • Commercial awareness
  • Collaborative team player who builds strong internal and external relationships and earns trust with stakeholders including product managers and sales teams
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) for complex commercial discussions
  • Self-driven, energetic, proactive, able to manage multiple tasks in an organized and methodical way
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business management or finance (preferred)
  • Role limited to candidates with indefinite right to work in the United States

Compensation / Benefits

  • Anticipated base salary range: $105,000 to $183,000 per year
  • Final base salary depends on geographic location, experience level, skills, training, and licenses/certifications

  • Team: Part of the Data, Valuations and Insight division; Pricing & Reference Data team
  • Services include fixed income products such as Credit Default Swaps, Syndicated Bank Loans, and Bonds (Corporate & Sovereign, US Municipal, and Securitized Products)
  • Customers include asset managers, investment banks, fund administrators, auditing firms, and regulators
