Business Development Area Manager

Healing Care Hospice is seeking a field-focused business development professional to support Orange County and nearby regions from an onsite base. The role centers on building referral networks, expanding markets, and cultivating in-person relationships with physicians, hospital staff, SNF administrators, and long-term care environments to drive hospice referrals, while coordinating with the clinical team to ensure smooth care transitions. This mission-driven organization values meaningful engagement with families and communities as part of delivering compassionate hospice care.

Responsibilities

• Spend approximately 95% of time in the field/out of the office developing relationships in the community to generate referrals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with physicians, hospital staff, SNF administrators and staff, and long-term care environments to generate hospice referrals.
• Develop new markets and referral sources, provide outstanding customer service, and work seamlessly with the clinical team to effectuate smooth care transitions.
• Hospice Service Representative experience required.
• Mileage is reimbursed.

Requirements

• Hospice Service Representative experience required.
• Healthcare Sales & Marketing experience with existing relationships and key hospice referral sources (physicians, hospital staff, SNF administrators and staff, long-term care environments).
• Ability to develop new markets and referral sources; provide outstanding customer service; coordinate with clinical team for smooth care transitions.
• Field/area based role with travel; able to drive 40-50 miles as needed.
• Spanish language preferred.
• Hospice/Home Health: 1 year (Required); Marketing in SNF/ALF: 1 year (Required).

Compensation & Incentives

• Salary: USD 80,000 - 100,000 per year
• Mileage reimbursement
• Additional earning potential with commission once monthly referral quota is met
