Job Description

LedgerLogix seeks a Business Development Executive to broaden its footprint across Cincinnati, Dayton, and Northern Kentucky by building relationships with business owners and trusted advisors to drive opportunities for outsourced accounting, controller, and fractional CFO services. This consultative role prioritizes relationship-building, pipeline management, and collaboration with internal leaders to move opportunities toward closure.

Location and Compensation

  • Location: Cincinnati, OH, hybrid
  • Salary: USD 60,000 - 80,000 per year

Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain relationships with business owners and centers of influence such as attorneys, commercial bankers, wealth advisors, CPAs, EOS implementers, and other trusted professionals
  • Identify and create new business opportunities through strategic networking, referrals, targeted outreach, and ongoing relationship-building
  • Lead discovery conversations to understand client challenges and assess alignment with LedgerLogix offerings
  • Develop and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal CFOs, controllers, and leadership to advance opportunities toward closing
  • Represent the firm in the local business community by participating in networking groups, industry associations, and community initiatives
  • Maintain precise pipeline activity and adhere to a disciplined business development process
  • Develop a thorough understanding of LedgerLogix service offerings and how they enhance client financial performance

Requirements

  • Five or more years of experience in business development, relationship management, commercial banking, financial advisory, consulting, or professional services sales
  • Proven success generating opportunities independently rather than relying solely on inbound leads
  • Established network of business owners and referral partners in Cincinnati, Dayton, or Northern Kentucky
  • Experience selling professional services, financial services, consulting services, or other trust-based solutions
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to uncover underlying business challenges
  • Comfort discussing profitability, cash flow, growth, operational challenges, and overall business performance
  • Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building capabilities
  • Demonstrates a high degree of personal accountability and self-motivation
