Job Description
Flood Medics Restoration LLC is expanding its water mitigation and restoration capabilities in Greenville, SC, by building a strong network of strategic partners and referrals. The company is seeking a Business Development Lead to grow the customer base through collaboration with service-industry firms, backed by a full-time package that blends a base salary with performance-based incentives.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue partnerships with service-industry companies including HVAC, plumbing, construction, insurance, and property management firms to boost water mitigation leads and project executions.
- Leverage an existing professional network to rapidly establish productive relationships and secure referral agreements.
- Develop and execute business development strategies to diversify the client base and broaden market reach.
- Lead outreach, deliver presentations, and negotiate partnerships that drive business results.
- Monitor and report on business development metrics such as referral volume, partnership success rates, and revenue growth from new sources.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure smooth service delivery and maintain strong partner relationships.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to cultivate connections.
Requirements
- Plumbing sales experience is prioritized; candidates should bring an existing contact network.
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or partnership management within the mitigation, restoration, construction, or related service industries.
- Existing productive business relationships with companies in the service area (HVAC, plumbing, construction, etc.) that can be leveraged immediately to drive referrals.
- Strong understanding of the water mitigation and restoration industry, including referral dynamics and partnership models.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a small business environment.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, but relevant experience is prioritized.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally as needed.
