Job Description

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager to accelerate revenue growth and expand market presence for TCS BaNCS Payments within the U.S. banking sector. This on-site role in Greenville, South Carolina, oversees the entire lifecycle of U.S. Payments opportunities—from initial qualification to final closure—while coordinating with delivery teams to ensure seamless transitions from sales to implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary sales lead for U.S. Payments opportunities with end-to-end ownership of qualification, closing, and ongoing support for the implementation team
  • Elevate the credibility and visibility of TCS BaNCS in the U.S. Payments market through thought leadership and proactive customer engagement
  • Directly engage senior banking executives and payments leaders to drive sales conversations and cultivate durable client relationships
  • Provide post‑sale support for implementation engagements to maintain alignment between commitments and delivery outcomes
  • Apply deep U.S. Payments domain expertise across ACH, Wires, and Real-Time Payments (RTP, FedNow) to credibly engage bank executives, shape solutions, and sustain complex sales pursuits from start to finish
  • Lead solution positioning and value messaging for payments modernization initiatives covering ACH, wires, and real-time payments (RTP, FedNow)

Requirements

  • Minimum 13 years of experience in relevant roles
  • Extensive background in the U.S. banking and payments space with a strong emphasis on solution consulting
  • In-depth expertise in U.S. Payments, including ACH, Wires, and Real-Time Payments (RTP, FedNow)
  • Proven track record in enterprise sales or solution-led selling for complex technology or payments modernization projects
  • Demonstrated ability to lead executive-level client engagements, including deal qualification, value positioning, and closing
  • Strong skills in shaping solutions and defining requirements to support sales pursuits and proposals
  • Experience collaborating with product, architecture, and delivery teams to drive outcomes
  • Superior communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Willingness to travel as needed to support client engagements
