Business Development Manager
Job Description
The Business Development Manager will support the sales organization by driving strategic growth and business development for Siemens Healthineers Education and Workforce Solutions (EWS) across targeted healthcare markets. The focus includes expanding remote scanning and related workforce solutions, while building customer relationships through alignment of Siemens remote workforce and imaging support to customer operational, clinical, and staffing needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic business development efforts focused on remote scanning solutions, including We Scan, within the medical imaging market.
- Identify and assess new business opportunities, market segments, customer channels, and go-to-market strategies that support EWS growth.
- Develop and execute market research, financial and competitive analysis, and customer segmentation strategies related to remote scanning, workforce solutions, and healthcare staffing models.
- Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to support solution design, commercial strategy, proposal development, and implementation planning.
- Coordinate and support assigned strategic projects, providing insights and recommendations that inform new business strategies and offerings.
- Analyze healthcare market trends, labor shortages, customer staffing challenges, and operational pain points to position Siemens Healthineers solutions effectively.
- Evaluate how to expand existing offerings into new customer groups, care settings, and delivery models, especially those related to medical imaging staffing, remote operations, and clinical support services.
- Prepare strategic summaries, business cases, and executive-level recommendations to support leadership decisions and growth initiatives.
- Support development and management of strategic databases, market intelligence tools, and related reporting resources.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners or vendors to help ensure successful execution of strategic and operational initiatives.
Requirements
- 10+ years of senior-level business development experience in medical imaging, healthcare workforce solutions, healthcare staffing, or related healthcare services.
- Demonstrated experience selling or supporting solutions in medical imaging, workforce solutions, remote clinical service models, or healthcare staffing environments.
- Strong understanding of healthcare staffing models, including MSP, contract labor, temporary staffing, and permanent placement services.
- Experience working with hospitals, health systems, imaging departments, outpatient centers, or similar provider organizations.
- Proven ability to identify market opportunities, build strategic relationships, and drive revenue growth in complex healthcare settings.
- Strong grasp of medical imaging operations and workforce challenges affecting imaging providers.
- Excellent strategic planning, market analysis, project coordination, and executive communication skills.
- Ability to travel 50% or more long distance.
Preferred Experience
- Significant experience selling or developing solutions related to medical imaging operations, remote scanning, clinical workforce support, healthcare staffing, or workforce optimization services.
- Background in radiology or imaging, healthcare staffing, workforce solutions, or other healthcare services.

Compensation
Base Pay Range: $119,920 - $164,890 per year
Starting pay within this range may depend on geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.

Commission
If this is a commission-eligible position, commission eligibility will follow the terms of the Company’s plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
