Business Development - NVOCC Sales
Job Description
Translink Shipping Inc is expanding its NVOCC sales force in Great Neck, NY, seeking candidates with business development and account management experience to generate new opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Sell transportation services and related offerings typical of NVOCC operations.
- Apply existing sales leads, development strategies, and an account management mindset to create new opportunities using centralized reporting tools.
- Stay informed on market conditions and share insights with the sales team through monthly email updates on industry trends.
- Maintain and update the account base and quotations in centralized software, continue business development, and deliver attentive customer service to clients.
Requirements
- Demonstrated sales experience with a proven track record of performance.
- Ability to drive business development and upsell within the existing client base.
- Strong relationship-building skills and a commitment to delivering meaningful value to every account.
- Knowledge of Far East/Southeast Asia is preferred; experience in South and Central America is a plus.
- Prior experience in NVOCC or similar forwarding operations is required.
