Business Development Operations Manager
Job Description

This role supports the Business Development, Operations, and Engagement Department by streamlining business applications, strengthening reporting, and helping teams execute key functions across departments.
What you’ll do
- Track sales and program data, then deliver reporting that supports forecasting and performance.
- Own the development and ongoing maintenance of Salesforce reports and dashboards, providing visibility into Business Development, Development and Operations performance, programs, and key metrics across department, regional, and individual staff levels.
- Obtain and organize data to track and promote targeted outreach, engagement, and sales reporting.
- Provide administrative support for data entry into applicable business applications.
- Monitor and respond to external inquiries received through general inboxes and voicemail.
- Assist with sales and contracting processes, including creation of outreach documents and presentation materials in collaboration with Marketing.
- Coordinate exhibits at industry conferences and events, including managing conference deadlines, registrations, schedules, staffing, budget, prep meetings, supply management, giveaways, and post-event communications with attendees.
- Partner with Marketing in advance to align on printed materials, conference messaging, and themes.
- Research logistics for new conference opportunities and serve as the primary coordination point for events, conferences, and presentations.
- Manage Contexture’s corporate business development and growth memberships, collaborating with internal teams to support engagement and participation.
- In collaboration with Business Development leadership, create, manage, and maintain departmental SOPs, Salesforce desktops, new staff onboarding and training materials, and supporting collateral for effective execution.
- Create Visio charts to document and improve process flow and inter-departmental handoff documentation.
- Gather information from internal teams and respond to general inquiries as needed.
- Support additional operational and administrative tasks as assigned.

- Experience with E.H.R. software systems is a plus.
- Understanding of the HIE landscape, including functionality, technology (HIT), and policy.

- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, diverse, results-oriented culture, including adapting to changing priorities and evolving processes.
- Demonstrated success managing a sales funnel and closing contracts for services with payers, ideally in a national setting.
- Proven ability to establish relationships, identify customer needs, and define value propositions.
- Comfort working with senior-level executives and collaborating with other team members to maintain alignment.
- Strong initiative, project management skills, and attention to detail, with willingness to roll up sleeves in ambiguous situations.
- Sound decision-making with limited information.
- Highly developed multi-tasking skills and strong sense of personal responsibility.
- CRM experience; ideal knowledge of Sales Force.
- Minimum 3+ years of consultative sales or consulting experience with payers and life insurance groups, preferably in healthcare IT or with a clinical background.
- Bachelor’s Degree required in Business, Healthcare Management, Information Systems or a related field (equivalent directly related work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
- Strong Microsoft experience, including Excel and Visio.
Salary: USD 5,757 - 6,583 per month

Work environment notes: Noise level is usually moderate. Occasional after-hours availability may be required. The role may require periodic driving to clients, conferences, and events, with limited travel possible. You may handle sensitive information, including Protected Health Information (PHI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII), and you are expected to comply with applicable laws, regulations, organizational policies, and compliance expectations.
