Business Development Representative

Pop! Promos is hiring a Business Development Representative to strengthen our pipeline from Philadelphia. This hybrid role combines consistent outbound prospecting with clear outcomes, and it comes with a straightforward compensation plan. If you like turning conversations into qualified meetings and keeping your CRM in top shape, you will have the structure and support to keep building momentum.

What you’ll do

• Make outbound calls each week to dormant and untapped distributor accounts.
• Lead with thoughtful discovery by asking questions that uncover real needs, including a project, timeline, supplier issues, or gaps you can help fill, without relying on a script.
• Qualify opportunities by confirming need, timeline, and the decision-maker before scheduling.
• Book qualified meetings every week for Account Executives.
• Write a brief handoff note for every meeting so the AE has the context and storyline going in.
• Log every call and next step in the CRM throughout the day.
• Share learnings on which accounts respond and which do not, helping improve the list over time.

What you bring

• 1+ years of phone prospecting, appointment setting, or inside sales experience, with B2B strongly preferred.
• The energy to maintain a high call volume and recover quickly after “no” on the next dial.
• Curiosity and an approach that listens more than it pitches.
• Strong CRM discipline, with the expectation that activity is logged and kept current.
• Coachability and a willingness to receive regular feedback on calls.
• Promotional products, channel sales, or distributor experience is a plus.
• Based in or near Philadelphia and comfortable with a hybrid schedule.

Compensation and schedule

Salary: USD 50,000 - 80,000 per year.

Pay structure: $50,000 base salary plus $30,000 target variable, for an $80,000 on-target income.

Location: Philadelphia, PA (hybrid).

Work pattern: 3 days in-office and 2 days remote, with flexibility being key.
