Responsibilities

  • Assist Producers and Practice Leaders in spotting and organizing prospective client opportunities across targeted industries, markets, and regions
  • Keep CRM and internal systems updated with current prospect, pipeline, and opportunity data
  • Prepare and coordinate sales materials, presentations, proposals, pre‑meeting briefs, and client follow‑ups
  • Support the development of RFP responses, finalist materials, stewardship examples, and other BD resources
  • Schedule and coordinate internal and prospect meetings and track follow‑ups to maintain momentum
  • Provide administrative support for producer led seminars, webinars, and educational events, including logistics and attendee management
  • Track seminar and webinar participation, document prospect engagement, and coordinate post‑event follow‑ups
  • Monitor key BD activities, deadlines, and next steps to advance opportunities through the sales process
  • Assist with market, industry, and competitor research to inform prospecting strategies
  • Deliver responsive support to Producers, leaders, and team members to ensure a professional prospect experience
  • Coordinate onboarding activities for new clients, gather information, organize implementation materials, and manage handoffs between sales and service teams
  • Assist with client files, carrier/vendor documentation, meeting materials, renewal items, and related service records
  • Support the service team with scheduling, agendas, follow‑up notes, deliverable tracking, and client service workflows
  • Enter and maintain accurate client information in CRM and internal systems
  • Support regional growth initiatives, cross‑sell opportunities, referrals tracking, and other sales enablement projects

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; a college degree is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
  • Washington Life, Disability health, and Travel licenses are preferred or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire
  • Professional designations such as CEBS, BGA, PHR, or CLU are preferred
  • Valid driver’s license is required

Education and Experience

High school diploma is required; college degree preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills to manage sensitive situations are essential.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

  • Washington Life, Disability health, Travel licenses preferred or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire
  • Professional designations such as CEBS, BGA, PHR, or CLU preferred

Technologies

Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Excel

Compensation

The hourly wage ranges from $34.87 to $41.03, based on experience and skills. The standard workweek is 37.5 hours. Compensation may include bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package. Final pay is determined by factors such as experience, education, certifications, and market data.
