Job Description

General Motors offers a Cadillac District Sales Manager role based in Charlotte, NC with remote flexibility. You will manage dealer relationships in a defined territory, drive product adoption, and lead marketing, training, and customer-satisfaction initiatives. This field-based position requires up to 75% travel and relocation to the Charlotte area within 60 days of start. The compensation package includes a base salary range of $80,700 - $109,400 per year plus an incentive program, along with a comprehensive benefits program designed to support your well-being and professional growth.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between GM, its dealerships, and additional GM Partners
  • Grow and foster partnerships
  • Facilitate mentorship and consulting to ensure monthly and yearly sales objectives are met
  • Track dealership Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) or other customer feedback resources to identify deficiencies or opportunities
  • Assist in product launches to ensure streamlined marketing and advertising between dealer, independent aftermarket (IAM) and GM
  • Monitor Dealership personnel training and ensure compliance with GM requirements/objectives
  • Assist with Dealership inventory management, including vehicle and or parts ordering and inventory stabilizing
  • Analyze Dealer sales, local market, and competition to identify revenue opportunities
  • Increase sales of GM vehicles and Accessory parts to its customers
  • Assist in customer problem resolution
  • Travel to your dealers in your designated region

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
  • 3+ years' experience in Sales, Marketing, or related fields with a proven track record of driving revenue growth
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools
  • Able to travel 100% and be mobile now and in the future and able to relocate anywhere within the United States
  • Ability to travel up to 50% to different locations within your territory
  • Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis

Compensation

The salary range for this role is $80,700-$109,400 per year. The actual base salary offered will vary based on factors relevant to the position. Bonus Potential: An incentive pay program offers payouts based on company performance, job level, and individual performance.

Field Work Arrangement

  • This is a field-based position that requires up to 75% travel to dealerships within the assigned territory on a recurring basis
  • The selected candidate must currently reside within the territory or be willing to relocate to Charlotte, NC or a surrounding area approved by leadership within 60 days of the start date
  • Preference will be given to local candidates

Travel Requirements

The role requires travel at least 50% or more on a frequent basis.
