Center Sales Director
Job Description
The Center Sales Director at EWC Growth leads the on-site operations of a European Wax Center location in Boston, MA, with accountability for team performance, sales-driven financial results, and guest satisfaction. This role serves as the top on-site leader, ensuring compliance with EWC Growth standards and service levels while guiding coaching, development, and daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, onboard, and retain high-performing associates
- Provide ongoing coaching, regular feedback, and formal performance reviews
- Cultivate a positive work culture that supports accountability and motivation
- Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional service by all team members
- Address escalated guest issues and complaints with professionalism
- Support the front desk team and model service excellence
- Grow retail sales, Wax Passes, and service bookings
- Track and achieve center KPIs and revenue targets
- Implement local marketing initiatives and community engagement
- Develop associate schedules and manage labor budgets
- Maintain center compliance with training, licensing, and HR policies
- Oversee day-to-day operations including timekeeping, payroll, and deposits
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized center environment
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and EWC standards
- Audit inventory and manage product orders and EFT/payment processing
Requirements
- At least 3 years in a sales leadership or management role within retail, beauty, or spa sectors
- Experience in a luxury environment is preferred
- Proven track record of achieving sales and operational targets
- Demonstrated team leadership and talent development capabilities
- Financial acumen with budget management and schedule planning experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Strong guest service and sales expertise
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems
- Full-time availability with flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- Fluent in English
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
