Role snapshot

As a field-based Chevrolet District Sales Manager, you will manage dealer relationships, drive GM vehicle and accessory sales, and coordinate marketing initiatives across Oregon. This role requires up to 75% travel within the assigned territory and may require relocation to the Portland area.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between GM, its dealerships, and GM Partners
  • Grow and foster partnerships within the network
  • Provide mentorship and consulting to support monthly and yearly sales objectives
  • Monitor dealership CSI and customer feedback to identify deficiencies or opportunities
  • Assist in product launches to ensure coordinated marketing between dealer, IAM and GM
  • Ensure dealership personnel training aligns with GM requirements and objectives
  • Support dealership inventory management, including vehicle and parts ordering and stabilization
  • Analyze dealer sales, local market, and competitive landscape to identify revenue opportunities
  • Increase sales of GM vehicles and accessory parts to customers
  • Assist with customer issue resolution
  • Travel to dealerships within your designated region

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
  • 5+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or related fields with a proven track record of revenue growth
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with data analysis, reporting, and visualization capabilities
  • Ability to travel up to 50% to various locations within your territory
  • Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle on a regular basis
