Community Partnerships and Business Development Manager
Job Description
Everstead Home Care is seeking a Community Partnerships and Business Development Manager to build and manage its referral network within the Greater Boston senior care ecosystem. This relationship-driven role concentrates on territory growth and partner engagement to expand Everstead’s market presence.
Location and Work Arrangement
Burlington, Massachusetts, with hybrid remote work. The role requires eligibility to commute to the Burlington site (01803).
Compensation
USD 75,000 - 100,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a growing portfolio of referral partners, including hospital discharge planners, geriatric care managers, elder law attorneys, senior living communities, and primary care physicians across the Greater Boston area.
- Perform regular in-person visits with referral partners to present Everstead's clinical standards, service lines, and caregiver credentialing framework in a credible, compelling manner.
- Collaborate with the CEO to design and execute a territory growth plan, identify high-value referral sources, prioritize outreach, and track relationship progress in the CRM.
- Oversee the referral-to-intake handoff, ensuring timely, professional responses for every referred family in line with company standards.
- Represent Everstead at community events, senior care networking functions, and professional association meetings to enhance brand presence and referral credibility.
- Monitor and report weekly on referral source activity, pipeline conversion, and client acquisition metrics.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure operational capacity aligns with the referral pipeline.
Requirements
- Demonstrated success in home care, home health, or senior care business development with a proven ability to convert referral relationships into revenue.
- Existing relationships with Greater Boston hospital discharge planners, geriatric care managers, or elder law attorneys are strongly preferred.
- Deep familiarity with the Greater Boston senior care ecosystem, including key referral sources, evaluation criteria for home care agencies, and strategies to earn trust.
- Independent contributor with a territory ownership mindset; this is not a team management role.
- CRM discipline, including logging activities, tracking pipelines, and reporting on referral source performance.
- Ability to credibly discuss clinical care standards, caregiver credentialing, and condition-specific care.
- Massachusetts driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Experience in a startup or early-stage environment where you built something is a strong plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in home care, home health, or senior care business development.
