Job Description

Onsite Portland, OR role at Exeter Finance LLC focused on managing dealer partnerships, growing loan applications, and leading training to hit sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a diverse market to boost loan application volume and cultivate strong dealer partnerships while consistently meeting sales targets.
  • Direct training and development programs to promote excellence and accountability across the team.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the organization and dealership partners to execute strategic initiatives.
  • Plan and conduct regular dealer visits to enhance engagement, verify compliance, and deliver product and performance insights.
  • Analyze dealer performance data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and guide continuous improvement.
  • Provide detailed insights and recommendations to senior leadership for decision making.
  • Deliver in-depth training and coaching to dealership teams to strengthen product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams (marketing, credit, funding) to drive promotional programs, resolve dealer issues, and deliver dealer-focused solutions.
  • Lead recruitment of new dealers by evaluating opportunities and guiding onboarding efforts.
  • Mentor junior sales team members and lead new hire training initiatives.
  • Represent the company at dealer events, conferences, and industry meetings to enhance brand presence and partnerships.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a degree is preferred.
  • Experience: At least 5 years in auto finance operations; 3+ years of successful sales experience; auto industry experience preferred.
  • Analytical ability: Strong data analysis skills, the ability to draw valid conclusions, and to propose effective solutions using critical thinking.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to present to diverse audiences and respond effectively.
  • Customer service: Commitment to delivering exceptional service and maintaining composure in challenging situations.
  • Interpersonal skills: Strong ability to build relationships and influence outcomes.
  • Travel: Regular travel to meet dealers and attend events, with a professional appearance to support the company image.
  • Technical: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Liberalization: Must hold a current valid driver’s license with no major driving incidents in the past 5 years.

Compensation
