Director of Business Development Operations
Job Description
Own end-to-end program execution and performance management for critical roadmap deliverables at ADP in Florham Park, NJ.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day program execution, including guidance for issue resolution and support for teams in defining and mitigating risks.
- Define program scope and build, deploy, and maintain a program execution plan.
- Create and maintain leadership-ready presentation materials for review sessions.
- Build milestone schedules with timelines, maintain visibility into key initiatives, and facilitate effective meetings.
- Drive improvements and coordinate event logistics (including customer visits).
- Collect, assemble, organize, and analyze program data to track and share metrics with minimal direction.
- Apply relevant policies, procedures, and regulations to keep delivery progress aligned with roadmap deliverables.
- Develop executive-level briefings using appropriate technologies to enable collaboration and integration.
- Own program-level schedule and budget; monitor plan execution and communicate status across program and project participants.
- Negotiate project changes and incorporate updates into project control systems to maintain work statement, cost, and schedule baselines.
- Maintain strong internal customer relationships to support superior customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accountability for program performance to the Sr. Principal Program Manager of the Portfolio Management Office.
- Work under pressure and to challenging deadlines while coordinating diverse stakeholder inputs.
- Coordinate and review inputs from Product Management, Operations, Compliance, Implementation, Service, legal, and finance.
- Prepare presentations and recommendations for diverse audiences, including executive leadership.
- Set clear scope boundaries to prevent scope creep and help assign appropriate resources.
- Apply program management best practices to complex programs and deliver against targets related to budget, schedule, product performance, quality, reliability, manufacturability, and production.
- Lead risk management activities: identify, track, quantify, and evaluate program-specific risks; establish and execute mitigation strategies.
- Stay engaged across program work to anticipate issues, drive resolution, and ensure overall program effectiveness.
Requirements
- 10+ years of Program Management experience.
- Experience using industry-standard program management techniques, tools, and best practices.
- Proven ability to manage complex programs, including integration across multiple workstreams, suppliers, and customer resources.
- Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to understand technical requirements.
- Logical approach to improving processes and solving problems.
- Experience with non-technical, process, and operations-related programs is required.
- Proven background serving as a right hand to a General Manager, working directly with C-level executives to develop and communicate strategy goals of the HCR Division.

Compensation
- USD 114,500 - 213,500 per year
- Base salary offers may vary based on location, skills, and relevant experience.
- Actual compensation will not be less than applicable minimum wage or minimum exempt salary requirements under federal, state, and local laws.
