What you’ll do
The District Sales Manager partners with Account Executives across the assigned district to maximize sales growth and maintain profitability. This role coaches and directs Account Executives, builds strategic plans aligned to corporate goals, and uses technology and data analysis to uncover new opportunities.
- Drive significant volume growth while maintaining profitability
- Coach, mentor, train, and direct Account Executives to support consistent execution
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with corporate goals
- Set performance goals for all Account Executives and review performance regularly with them to manage results against goals
- Use technology and data analysis to identify growth opportunities
- Build strategic relationships with key customers and conduct periodic account reviews alongside Account Executives
- Support high level sales presentations with key customers
- Address and resolve escalated customer concerns expeditiously
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs
What you bring
- HS Diploma and/or GED required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree is a plus
- 2+ years of foodservice sales experience; 4+ years of sales experience preferred
- 1+ year of experience in a leadership role
- Current driver license
- Demonstrated expertise in problem solving
- Demonstrated expertise using technology and analyzing customer data
- Knowledge of industry trends
- Bias for action and intolerance of mediocrity
- Expertise in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Flexibility to meet department demands, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
