Equipment Finance Sales Manager
Job Description
LeasePoint Funding Group is hiring a hands-on Equipment Finance Sales Manager to lead and elevate an AE team through coaching, enablement, and day-to-day execution.
Responsibilities
- Directly manage and coach the AE team with consistent 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and ride-alongs on live calls
- Partner with the CGO on sales strategy, territory planning, and goal setting, then translate priorities into daily execution
- Build and run a sales enablement program including onboarding for new AEs, ongoing skills training, call coaching, and deal reviews
- Create playbooks, talk tracks, and objection-handling frameworks to support consistent selling
- Drive accountability to activity standards, pipeline hygiene, and conversion metrics, while improving each rep’s execution
- Identify individual and team skill gaps and develop targeted development plans to close them
- Review pipeline and forecast with each AE to sharpen deal strategy and help move stuck opportunities forward
- Run team meetings that are focused, prepared, and aligned to the improvements the team needs
- Coordinate with credit, funding, and servicing to keep deal flow moving cleanly through the business
- Spot recurring patterns in wins and losses and feed insights back into strategy and training
- Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and ramp plans for new AEs as the team grows
Requirements
- 5+ years of sales experience with a proven record of meaningful, measurable results
- 2 to 4+ years of direct coaching, team lead, or sales management experience with demonstrated success developing other sellers
- Equipment finance, leasing, lending, financial services, or another consultative B2B sales environment strongly preferred
- Strong command of the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, deal strategy, objection handling, and close
- Demonstrated ability to build and run sales enablement, training, or coaching programs
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to deliver feedback that changes behavior
- Strong organizational habits and discipline to maintain consistent coaching and review cadences
- Ability to work on-site in person with the team every day
- CRM proficiency with HubSpot experience a plus and Microsoft Office

Success Metrics
- Within 90 days: Build trusted relationships with each AE and understand strengths, gaps, and development needs
- Within 90 days: Establish consistent coaching and 1:1 cadence with the team
- Within 90 days: Diagnose the biggest enablement and process gaps and align with the CGO on priorities
- Within 90 days: Begin running call coaching, deal reviews, and pipeline reviews on a regular rhythm
- Within 6 to 12 months: Measurable improvement in AE activity, pipeline quality, and conversion metrics
- Within 6 to 12 months: Document a sales enablement program (onboarding curriculum, ongoing training plan, and coaching framework)
- Within 6 to 12 months: Stronger forecast accuracy and pipeline discipline across the team
- Within 6 to 12 months: Demonstrable growth in individual AE performance, especially among earlier-tenure reps
- Within 6 to 12 months: Established as a trusted partner to the CGO and respected leader on the floor
Compensation
- USD 200,000 - 250,000 per year
