In-Home Sales Manager – New Rep Development | Recruit, Train, Ride-Along, Close
Job Description
Florida Home360 is seeking an In-Home Sales Manager to guide the development of new reps across South Florida, from first recruitment to independent closers. This onsite leadership role emphasizes hands-on recruiting, immersive training, and ride-alongs, all while providing direct support to the VP of Sales to build a durable bench of in-home closers. The ideal candidate will blend coaching with execution, ensuring each new rep progresses to a productive, self-sufficient closer.
Responsibilities
- Own a rep from recruitment through the moment they close clean, then transition them to the VP of Sales and begin again with the next candidate.
- Recruit, hire, train, and ride along until the rep operates independently.
- Salvage holds and keep reps accountable to their targets.
- At 90 days, determine if a rep is producing as an independent closer; otherwise, replace them.
- Support the VP of Sales directly through ride-alongs with the veteran team, holds and cancellation saves, and coverage where the floor needs it.
- Build and maintain a steady pipeline of in-home sales candidates.
- Source, screen, interview, and hire.
- Maintain a full funnel so we are selecting, not settling.
- Run and continuously improve onboarding and new-hire training.
- Lead training classes, roleplays, and weekly development meetings.
- Own scripts, product knowledge, presentation standards, and process adherence.
- Certify a rep as field-ready — that call is your responsibility.
- Manage new reps day-to-day: their numbers, activity, and attitude.
- Ride along in the field until they close independently, including evenings and Saturdays when appointments occur.
- Debrief every appointment and coach on the drive home.
- Decide with sales leadership when a rep earns leads and how many.
- Identify a rep who isn’t going to make it, and act early.
- Hand off clean, producing reps to the VP of Sales at 90 days.
- Handle holds and cancellation saves across the sales floor.
- Ride-alongs and coaching with veteran reps as needed.
- Step into the field when the schedule requires it.
Requirements
- You have personally recruited, trained, and managed in-home sales reps in a one-call-close environment.
- Experience on a high-accountability sales floor such as home improvement, solar, HVAC, home services, timeshare, telecom, or similar; you don’t need to have sold windows, but you must have built closers.
- You've managed against close rate, sit rate, demo rate, average ticket, and issued leads, and know how to respond when any metric slips.
- You can salvage a hold on the phone at 8pm and mean it.
- You hold people accountable without losing them.
- Strong organization and follow-through — this role involves many moving parts and requires self-sufficiency.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and availability evenings and Saturdays.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

You are not inheriting someone else’s team and maintaining it. You build the bench for a growing company, hand off finished closers, and repeat the process with a real budget, real leads, and a product that sells. You’ll have a direct line to the VP of Sales and executive leadership, and when your class produces, the impact is clear to the whole organization.
