Job Description

Translink Shipping Inc. seeks an NVOCC Sales professional for an international role focused on business development and account management. This onsite position is based in Schaumburg, IL, with coverage across multiple branches, including Great Neck, NY.

Responsibilities

  • Sell transportation and related services offered by NVOCC operators.
  • Utilize existing sales leads, development strategies, and account management approaches to create new opportunities using centralized reporting systems.
  • Maintain awareness of market conditions and industry trends, sharing insights with the sales team through monthly email updates.
  • Update and manage client accounts and quotations within the centralized software platform.
  • Continue business development while delivering reliable and attentive customer service to clients.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience with a track record of performance.
  • Ability to execute business development initiatives and upsell to the client base.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the capacity to deliver meaningful value to each account.
  • Knowledge of the Far East and Southeast Asia is preferred; familiarity with South and Central American trade is a plus.
  • Prior experience in NVOCC and/or similar forwarding fields is required.

Salary

Salary range: USD 45,000 - 100,000 per year, DOE. Job Type: Full-time. Pay: USD 45,000 - 100,000 per year.

Work Location

Onsite position based in Schaumburg, IL. The role requires in-person work.
