Job Description
Abbott Laboratories invites you to join the Abbott Diabetes Care Division as a remote Regional Sales Manager. This role leads a district sales team to meet or exceed goals, coaches representatives, ensures compliance, and coordinates with marketing to implement programs. The position is remote in Oklahoma City, OK, with a base pay range of $113,300 to $226,700 per year. A Bachelor's degree and at least two years of selling experience are required. Responsibilities
- Achieve or surpass the district's sales targets.
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop representatives to exceed sales goals.
- Provide strategic and tactical input to the marketing team.
- Execute divisional sales and marketing programs.
- Establish controls to monitor field activity and representative effectiveness.
- Oversee performance and reallocate resources or adjust approaches as needed.
- Ensure all activities comply with corporate guidelines.
- Guarantee each representative receives proper training.
- Use appropriate reports for call tracking, territory analysis, and sample accountability.
- Work regularly with field representatives to coach and assess skills.
- Be accountable for retail and managed care accounts within the district.
- Maintain compliance with corporate and divisional policies and perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2 to 4 years of selling experience, including at least one cross-training role
- Experience selling in another channel
- Demonstrated coaching, leadership, and planning skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Understanding of customer profiles and needs
- Ability to meet the expectations customers have for partners' competency
