Regional Sales Manager
Job Description
In this Regional Sales Manager role based in New Hampshire (remote), you will lead the New England territory sales function, drive revenue growth, and support customer success. You will manage and coach a territory team while coordinating sales planning, training, and competitive product management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of territory salespeople across the New England Region.
- Maintain both covered and uncovered territory customers.
- Support new and existing customers with timely resolution of issues impacting manufacturing and distribution.
- Run weekly or bi-weekly team meetings with direct reports and provide day-to-day assistance, support, and relevant information as needed.
- Provide ongoing coaching and counseling, including discipline when necessary, by monitoring and evaluating sales results for direct reports.
- Continuously build and maintain vendor relationships.
- Coordinate and administer training for direct reports.
- Assist with overall product management.
- Assist and manage the Sales Planning process for Region and Quarterly Management Meetings.
- Assemble, support, train, and retain effective outside and inside sales team members.
- Manage product lines and support strategic territory evaluation of competitors using SWOT.
- Select and participate in selected trade shows, coordinated by marketing.
- Analyze opportunities within each territory and advise on or participate in closing strategies.
- Travel regularly with each regional sales team member.

Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
- 3-5 years of experience in equipment sales.
- 2 years of experience managing a direct sales force.
- Process Equipment experience (pumps, instrumentation, systems).
- Preferably completed a formal sales process training program.
- Familiarity with Microsoft packages (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Familiarity with CRM & ERP use.

Work Location and Environment
This position is remote. You will work in a typical professional office setting, with the ability to work from home. When visiting customers and touring their facilities, you will be exposed to industrial conditions. The role requires handling varying stress levels and routinely using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, printers, and fax machines.

Compensation and Benefits
Pay: USD 180,000 to 215,000 per year.
