Job Description

A dedicated sales professional will join Niagara Bottling as an onsite Sales Development Associate Manager in Diamond Bar, CA, collaborating with regional leadership to translate strategy into action and strengthen customer relationships. The role centers on guiding internal customers, coordinating with the Regional Sales Manager and Director of Sales, and driving retention and growth across assigned accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed annual targets for case volume, revenue, pricing, and forecast accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the RSM and Director of Sales to develop and pursue an annual account plan with account-specific case, revenue, and penetration goals.
  • Prepare for and participate in bi-annual business reviews with the RSM to increase customer exposure.
  • Develop account-specific business plans with guidance from the RSM.
  • Coordinate the execution of special programs such as casual marketing, cross-promotions, and bonus-pack promotions.
  • Lead and attend plant tours and entertainment events, and manage the promotional calendar.
  • Conduct weekly account reviews across the region with each RSM.
  • Oversee internal customer trade funds and marketing accruals.
  • Work closely with the RSM and customers to align internal goals with Niagara and customer sales objectives through targeted programs.
  • Support account retention initiatives.
  • Join the RSM and VP to manage individual plant tours and entertainment events.
  • Ensure successful onboarding of new customers and items within the region.
  • Lead startup projects across Niagara departments (PLM process) and maintain clear communication with the RSM.
  • Prepare startup timelines, assign customer communication, and identify/resolve startup issues with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage regional sales reporting and develop/distribute internal sales reports (Cognos/Cube Data).
  • Optimize use of customer reporting tools and proprietary systems; generate reports and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Coordinate competitive retail checks (H Drive) and ECRM data analysis; maintain forecast accuracy and support monthly forecasting efforts with the RSM.
  • Collaborate with the customer’s supply chain to verify forecasts and pursue operational improvements in efficiency, service levels, and differentiators.
  • Manage escalation of service-level concerns with the RSM and oversee day-to-day internal customer management.
  • Facilitate internal communication with Transportation, Planning, Customer Service, Sourcing, Accounting, Legal, and Manufacturing.
  • Support activities such as label compliance, design changes, new packaging rollouts, AR assistance, new item rollouts, and service level opportunities.
  • Coordinate quality-related questions, audits, and other sales-related quality requests; assist with customer documentation for promotions and special items; provide bid support for customers and participate in new item rollouts.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Management, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

Salary range: USD 111,766 - 159,267 per year (annual)
