Sales Development Representative
Job Description
Join Terryberry as a Sales Development Representative to qualify prospects, arrange meetings, and assist Account Managers within a fast-paced SaaS sales environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Marketing and Sales to improve lead quality and drive conversions.
- Conduct prospect research across multiple tools and data sources to understand business needs.
- Reach out via phone, email, video, and social channels to qualify leads and schedule meetings for Account Managers.
- Deliver a strong first impression by offering a high-quality, professional experience to prospects.
- Sustain active engagement with new and existing leads through regular follow-ups.
- Accurately log every customer interaction and next action in Salesforce.com.
- Take on additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Proven ability to influence others and quickly build rapport, particularly during phone conversations.
- Motivation to learn and effectively use software tools designed for automated sales development.
- Experience with Salesforce.com or alternative sales tools is advantageous.
- Solid proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities.
- High energy level and a positive attitude.
- Self-motivated, driven, and a proactive team player.
- Comfort working in hybrid and in-office environments.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; pursuing degree is acceptable.
- At least 1 year of relevant experience or internships in prospecting, inside sales, business development, or marketing is preferred.
Compensation
- Base salary: $50,000 per year
- Target incentive: $25,000
- On-target earnings: $75,000 at 100% of goal
- Pay range: $50,000 to $75,000 per year
