Job Description
Royal Labs Natural Cosmetics is expanding its sales organization and building a scalable growth engine for both contract manufacturing and the Deep Steep consumer brand. This onsite role in Johns Island, SC offers a performance-based bonus opportunity, comprehensive support benefits, and a hands-on environment with an established U.S. manufacturer continuing to expand.
As Sales Director for Growth & Business Development, you will own the strategy and execution behind new business creation. You will generate opportunities for the contract manufacturing division and support long-term brand growth through pipeline building, CRM-driven execution, and cross-functional project management.
What you’ll do
- Identify and generate new contract manufacturing and private label opportunities through prospecting and relationship development.
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan designed for long-term revenue growth.
- Build and maintain relationships with beauty brands, retailers, distributors, and entrepreneurs.
- Own the company’s CRM, sales pipeline, and reporting processes to support forecasting and performance tracking.
- Create and implement sales tools, outreach strategies, and repeatable processes that support sustainable growth.
- Manage opportunities from initial inquiry through production launch, ensuring continuity through handoff.
- Prepare quotations, pricing proposals, and manufacturing estimates.
- Collaborate closely with formulation, regulatory, operations, and production teams to support successful project execution.
- Represent Royal Labs at industry trade shows and networking events.
- Grow existing customer accounts while also pursuing new business opportunities.
- Support strategic sales initiatives tied to the Deep Steep consumer brand.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and performance metrics, meeting and exceeding annual sales goals.
- Continuously improve the sales infrastructure and business development strategy in partnership with the CEO.
What you bring
- 5+ years of sales experience in cosmetics, skincare, bath & body, or personal care.
- Experience selling private label or contract manufacturing services.
- Strong understanding of cosmetic manufacturing, packaging, and product development.
- Proven ability to develop new business and manage customer relationships.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple customer projects at the same time.
- Willingness to travel as needed.

Compensation and location
- Location: Johns Island, SC (onsite, in person)
- Salary: USD 85,000 - 100,000 per year

Preferred experience
- Existing relationships in the beauty, skincare, or personal care industry
- Experience with OTC products
