Job Description
Join a door-to-door roofing insurance sales model built to keep the focus on selling. Hail Or High Water Roofing maintains a back-of-house team for non-sales operational work, so the field sales team can concentrate on prospecting, knocking doors, and building signed agreement volume. This Sales Manager role is centered on recruiting, training, leading, motivating, and retaining a high-performing team in the field.
Base pay: $150,000.00 to $350,000.00 per year.
Location: Gainesville, GA (onsite). Work location: On the road.
Schedule: Flexible schedule.
What you’ll own
- Recruit, interview, and hire door-to-door sales representatives.
- Build and implement a repeatable sales training system.
- Train, coach, and develop new representatives through structured coaching and development.
- Run sales meetings, training sessions, and role-playing to reinforce performance.
- Work in the field alongside representatives and lead by example.
- Create accountability systems that tie to measurable results.
- Coach underperformers while developing top performers to raise overall output.
- Retain talented salespeople and create opportunities for advancement.
- Identify neighborhoods, markets, and new sales opportunities.
- Partner directly to develop compensation structures, incentives, and career paths for the team.
- Build and maintain a sales culture based on performance, accountability, achievement, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure the sales organization can consistently generate signed agreements for the operations team.
Requirements
- A proven track record in door-to-door insurance roofing sales leadership.
- Experience recruiting strong candidates and recognizing potential in less-experienced salespeople.
- Ability to train people to prospect, knock doors, strengthen confidence, improve their pitch, overcome objections, and become consistent producers.
- Comfort being in the field and building a team through coaching, motivation, and accountability.
- Experience building and retaining a sales team.
