Job Description
The Sales Manager for Hereditary Cancer Screening at Myriad Genetics leads area level planning, account targeting, and performance management while overseeing administrative functions, CRM usage, and staff development. This onsite role in Dallas requires extensive travel and a strong emphasis on relationship building and strategic execution.

Responsibilities
- Develop a thorough understanding of program content and translate it into the execution of the area business plan to meet objectives.
- Implement an area level account targeting approach to satisfy targeting strategy requirements.
- Oversee customer needs assessment processes.
- Manage critical relationships and establish staff oriented account relationship development objectives.
- Monitor the effectiveness of the area strategy and adjust as needed.
- Ensure performance requirements are achieved across the team and territory.
- Review and audit expense reports promptly to maintain financial discipline.
- Evaluate resource utilization to support profitability goals.
- Guarantee timely and accurate submission of all administrative requirements.
- Monitor and reinforce consistent use of Customer Relationship Management systems, including Salesforce.com.
- Ensure that field staff complete Field Rides and Coaching Reports within 72 hours at least twice per quarter.
- Align the annual goals and measurements of reporting personnel with the business priorities.
- Conduct interim reviews to keep staff focused on key priorities and establish accountability for results and measurement processes.
- Ensure development and training plans are in place for all reporting personnel to support rising levels of responsibility.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 years of sales experience in diagnostic testing, molecular testing, medical device, and/or specialty pharmaceutical sales.
- Knowledge in women’s health and/or oncology is preferred.
- At least 5 years of sales leadership success.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Travel requirement: at least 70 percent travel; extensive overnight travel is needed.
