Sales Manager - No Plumbing Experience

J. Blanton Plumbing is hiring an experienced Sales Manager to help lead a team of approximately 10 Sales Consultants in Northbrook, IL. The role focuses on coaching, performance management, and revenue growth, and plumbing or home services experience is not required as the company will provide industry training.

This is an onsite position with competitive pay, including performance-based earning potential, for leaders who enjoy driving measurable results through clear sales strategy and hands-on coaching.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of approximately 10 Sales Consultants
• Run regular ride-alongs, coaching sessions, and performance reviews
• Build sales strategies to drive revenue growth and improve close rates
• Track team performance using KPIs and other sales metrics
• Provide ongoing training and professional development
• Maintain a positive, high-performance sales culture
• Collaborate with operations and executive leadership to support an exceptional customer experience
• Recruit, interview, and onboard new sales team members
• Hold the team accountable to sales goals and company standards

Requirements

• 5+ years of sales management experience
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing a sales team
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales goals
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience using KPIs, reporting, and performance metrics to improve results
• Ability to motivate, mentor, and hold team members accountable
• Valid driver’s license

Compensation and Benefits
