Sales Manager - Promotional Products Industry

Promo Elec Inc is looking for a Sales Manager to help clients get the right promotional products while building momentum in a fast-paced, goal-driven sales environment. This full-time, onsite role in City of Industry, CA combines client support, new business development, and participation in industry events, with $50,000 to $100,000 per year and commission.

What you’ll do

• Support clients by translating product needs into actionable ideas, sourcing options, and accurate quotes.
• Service existing customers while building and expanding your own client base.
• Drive prospecting and new business development through networking, calling, and email campaigns.
• Meet with distributors to stay current on the latest product lines and industry trends.
• Investigate and resolve customer issues to maintain strong customer outcomes.
• Participate in industry trade shows and sales events.
• Work toward sales quota, budget, and margin objectives across all sales activities.
• Assist the Sales Manager with developing sales strategies and special projects.

What you bring

• 2+ years of ASI/PPAI experience (must have).
• Ability to source products using ASI software and SAGE software, along with thorough internet searches.
• Working knowledge of screen printing, print processes, substrates, and customization options.
• Knowledge of the promotional products industry, including business model, pricing structures, companies, and people (preferred).
• Exceptional cold calling, networking, and business development skills.
• Strong time management and the ability to operate in a deadline and goal-driven environment.
• Experience creating lasting relationships with prospective clients.
• Strong follow-up, work ethic, drive, and competitiveness.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently.
• Ability to communicate with the China sourcing office, including fluent Chinse speaking (must).
