Job Description

Fort Wayne based sales leadership role guiding an outside sales team, with approximately 80 percent of time spent in the field to drive revenue, while hiring, training, and managing the pipeline.

Responsibilities

  • Working manager: lead by example while performing sales and coaching duties.
  • Allocate roughly 80 percent of time in the field, working alongside the sales team.
  • Own and meet the branch revenue and profitability targets.
  • Recruit, onboard, develop, mentor, and motivate an outside sales team.
  • Maintain consistent daily selling activity and grow the sales pipeline.
  • Proactively guide deals through the full sales cycle and move opportunities forward.
  • Develop and implement daily, monthly, and annual sales plans.
  • Provide precise revenue forecasts on weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual horizons.
  • Assess sales productivity and apply improvements.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with new and existing corporate customers.
  • Ensure alignment with corporate policies and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Proven sales leadership experience or a long record of sales success ready to transition into leadership.
  • Experience selling technology based solutions to corporate clients.
  • Comfort coaching and selling in the field; this is not a desk job.
  • Ability to build, manage, and forecast a sales pipeline.
  • Thrive in performance driven environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and leadership skills.
  • History of job stability.
  • Clean driving record.
  • College degree preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Total compensation: $50,000 – $150,000 per year
  • Base salary plus performance-based incentives
